Starting Trucking School Monday. Eyeing US Xpress

    I have my learners permit and health cards in hand and begin school on Monday. I will finish around the 4th of July weekend. I have a choice of going to orientation out of Jacksonville or Springfield Ohio due to family in both locales. Any suggestions as to which might be best as I would like to run as a team for at least the first year. I really do not want to handle freight very much, just run hard! TY in advance for any suggestions.

    I am going to school in Michigan but need to return to Florida anyway so I can simply choose which place might be best to work from. I really prefer Florida due to more family there.

    I just wanted to check and make sure that one terminal wasn't more lucrative to work out of than the next?

    It's better to attend the one by you because you might end up sitting around a lot during the day. Waiting on a trainer or getting a truck assigned to you. The whole process is less stressful if you have a car at the terminal and a home to go to nearby. :help:

    Thank you both. It would seem that there is perhaps a fairly long waiting period and so I am going to schedule other orientations as well!
