Hey guys, im supposed to be starting my CDL training for CRST hopefully Monday. I just gotta get 2 GAP letters notarized, which verify my periods of unemployment. Im only 21, so i have to get those filled out.

I have dreamed of being a Truck Driver since i was little, my father ran truck for 13 years, owned his own company, truck, the whole thing. I fell in love with it, the smell of diesel, the whining of the turbo on a semi rolling 65MPH down the Interstate, the truck stops, the lifestyle, you name it. My father had taken me everywhere so i know what the life is like, and i know its for me.

Anyways, i looked into several companies, some required credit checks, the others didnt. CRST seemed like the easiest one to get into at my age and with very little money. I barely have enough to pay for my licensing and processing fees. I know that CRST isnt the best company, they are mainly a starter company. Im going to do the 8 month contract deal, because i have no money to put down for schooling, and its only 8 months, thats not even that long.

So i just wanted to ask others what kinds of experiences they have had with CRST Expedited. Hows the training facility? Training Staff? Living Conditions? You name it. Id like to have some peace of mind before i leave, seeing as im getting a little nervous about going. Thanks guys!

Wish you'd have came here and researched before you committed. Hopefully you do get some peace of mind. There is a whole forum subtopic devoted to CRST here somewhere.
