I used to meditate a lot. During that time, my BP was never high for any reason. You may be onto something. Thank you, George!

The fitbit, although a great idea, will only be a small part of any doc's examination. There's nothing saying it stayed on YOU for the entire previous 48hrs. Matter of fact, they may even see it as suspicious that you're trying so hard. The guilty cry loudest of their innocence.
    Just food for thought.

I hear the doctors can issue a 24 to 48 hour BP monitor that stays on for situations like mine. Maybe thats a better alternative for me.

Yeah, essentially a tamper-proof fit bit.

i just wanted to say hi and i love this forum and this thread alot of useful information here i have been driving taxi for 11 years and is time for a career change and have always been interested in truck driving and i feel this thread inparticular has really helped make up my mind thats why i didn't start a new thread on so thank you rosewild your thread has realy pretty much made an impact on my future. my only phobia's to overcome will be major cities and winter mountain passes.
I have read some other threads on what truckers can expect to make but my most remaining question is the monthly cost of living in the truck food clothing etc i know it would vary dependent on the driver but is there a rough ball park figure to run with?

    RoseWild Thanks this.

The unfairly disqualified also cry pretty loudly. If they're suspicious, maybe they should talk to her primary care physician, who will likely have documented the issue, during the previous medical treatment, in which the problem was originally identified.

    RoseWild Thanks this.
