Problem here though, is that the averages are going to be against him, as a first time licensed driver. It is common knowledge that newly licensed drivers get into a lot of wrecks. Now should this happen, and say he racks up a bunch of speeding tickets, he's screwed over once he get's his CDL. Driving as any name brand pizza delivery driver, puts him into harms way faster than an ordinary newly licensed driver, as he now has to get the pizza delivered fast, while it's hot.
States exempt from needing a drivers license for 1 year to get a CDL

I had been informed by a swift recuirter that being eligible to get my CDL permit would allow me to get my full fledged CDL if the state allows it. And as I said before I do have about a years driving experience now, it was just under the conditions of a permit.

Crazy as it seems, national pizza chains won't hire him without a full three years driving record. Isn't that funny, dominoes and papa John's are more selective than swift, cre, prime, and all the other megas. -
At 26 years old and just now getting off your ### to get a driver's license? Too busy gaming and mooching off your old man when most your age group have been making at least some contribution to society? No, you will not EVER get a CDL and you probably will never be able to keep a class c in whatever state you live in. Living on your own as a so called adult requires a certain small degree of motivation. From your worthless life story you don't even have that. You might try growing up and getting back to us in about 10 years, dip ####.

Don't quote me but I believe that it is a federal regulation that you have to have your license for 1 year before you can obtain a CDL.

hmm, I want to do an experiment
can somebody who has never driven a car actually have an easier time learning how to drive a truck?
somebody who has never driven a stick in a car has a better time adapting to stick in a truck, so I wonder if it works the same way from car-to-truck -
