OP, don't feel bad, I got cheated out of a $3200 load from Landstar.
The broker, XKM - Alejandra was a complete liar and cheat the whole way through....NEVER do business with that sleaze !!

How about you give him the $400 outta your pocket instead of your useless comment? Apparently you'll never miss it! I Bet you would, and wish that this industry had a means to regulate illegal practices like this that have been plaguing the industry for decades. Always support a brother driver out there when they are in the right. Show some respect and stand up for yourself and others instead of laying down and take it and liking it!

    1. He is not my brother.

    2. If you have a business that makes 100k-300k per year and you have to ask how to collect $400 of that you probably shouldn't be in business.

    3. He asked for advice and I gave it.

    4. All that went right over your head didn't it?

I'm not an o/o but if you're having such a bad year and you sit around waiting for loads why did you wait until the afternoon to pick up 2 miles away?

I wasn't sitting for this load. U just don't read the whole story. This year I did not bad. And why bad year, I have to run cheap? That means loose money. I would rather sit not haul for somebody for free. Keep buy doesn't means earn money.

Sorry to hear you got screwed. If its enough to make you quit make sure you have an exit strategy where you don't lose 4000 instead of 400.

Your wrong again. All you have done in this thread is prove that you really dont have any place being in business. Maybe its actually time for you to start taking advice from those who arw more successful then yourself.
