The only person that's being dishonest, objective, is Joe.
He spews the same manure each post, like a broken record.
The only intelligent thing is yes, talk to other drivers.
If you believe in his logic, even drivers you meet on the road are fake.
Like most conspiracy theorists, there is a skewed agenda, and possibly it has affected judgement.
I have to go back and drive my imaginary truck now, while others sit in their mothers basement and hide behind their made up Internet persona.

Really? 4 raises in the first 12.5 months. (Already received 2) 1200-1500? You're either lying, or you did something really wrong. (Service failures, safety highlights, MAJOR hr issue etc). I guess you could be telling the truth if you had a REALLY crappy FM. However, if you did you should should have spoken up in a professional manner. WHENEVER I have had mileage issues all I had to do was bring the situation to someone's attention. I learned right away that there was a right and a wrong way to do that. The wrong way = no help....the right way = an FM going out of their way to make it right. Re. the freight loads, yes they can be more cumbersome, but its amazing how far being courteous and polite can go! Hazmat.......yes you do need it. However, the loads are relatively far between and they PAY EXTRA. CANADA IS NOT REQUIRED! I am the first to admit that I've had some gripes, but ummmmmmm, its trucking!

I make many miles, hauling Conway Freight loads with Hazmat to Canada.
If micro managed means picking up and delivering on time, then I guess they do.
Your asked to call when assigned a Conway Freight load, this is done to ensure special instructions are covered.
Stage early if possible, Pick up on time, get time stamp, delv on time. And if delayed, communicate. I guess to some its simply doing the job, others its micro management.

Wow! Talk about "grasping for straws", eh? Again, I can't stress the fact enough to all potential new drivers to go talk to real drivers in person!
And the real facts don't lie: There is an unbelievable 98% driver turnover rate in ALL the mega carriers. Conway included. And no, not because those drivers that leave are not "good" enough or aren't "tough" enough, or that they are simply "lazy". No, the reason that there is such a high driver turnover rate is because most drivers are realizing that they deserve so much better than the lousy pay and working conditions that all the megas have to offer, so they quit and then they move on.
Again: 98% driver turnover rate! That "pool" of new drivers is finally beginning to dwindle down; hence the trucking companies are just now starting to get a little concerned. After all, no drivers means no freight being moved.
And to all you "flagwavers"; after having personally worked for this company, I know exactly what you are really making and what your working conditions are really like. And I am saying "bee ess" to your exaggerated claims of Conway.
But don't believe me; go talk to real drivers in person.
