When it’s winter I dress according to temps but I’m a ##### that just hauls NH3 so staying outside is no big deal

Granted I'm not in the propane business... I've been p&d for 2 decades (3k skids liftgate, sort & seg, hand truck loads into basements, inside del residentials etc) I my opinion Dale is making his point easier than I would've. You guy's are complaining bc you have to STAND there while unloading???????? Again, I'm not in the business but how would you know if there's a leak from behind the wheel in the cab????? Nevermind a sneaky safety inspector, if I were a customer seeing you unloading in your cab I'd have a problem with that!

You have to be aware of what’s going on around you ........
if it does leak and gets into the air filter it’s game over......
so the thinking would be to sit in the cab paying attention and if a leak developes to shut of truck immediately then fix the leak......
Also if a hose fails and your standing right next to it, like the white shirts want you stand a good chance of being burned.....
PPE or not......Last edited: Feb 6, 2021

I am pretty sure all of the procedures were covered in training before they turned a driver loose. Imagine that, a company that actually makes sure that it's training procedures are followed. When you discovered how strong they are in that area, wouldn't it be simpler just to walk into the office and say I am not a good fit here? LP is the very definition of a seasonal business.
I have delivered at least a dozen new and used LP tank trailers to this company over the last 10 years. First rate outfit as far as I can tell. -
They have driver facing cameras I believe.......
