many many years ago there was a guy that lived close to me had two trucks that run local he paid the drivers mileage pay plus stop pay and the driver paid for the fuel...he said it was to keep the drivers from idling the trucks at every stop and running the guts out of the truck..sounded odd to me he did this for quite a while didnt have huge turnover ..I wouldnt want any part of it but I suppose if the numbers were right and the owner was honest it may work, just not for me....

 

Okay first let start by saying I am the dispatcher for MMT logistics and this Bfr38 did not tell is that he was an o/o and tore his tranny out of his truck . Second was that his pay he showed you was deduction for his truck repairs and service call. MMt Logistics Is owned and operated by the most fair people out there and I will defend my company . This Bfr38 was upset that his truck broke down and need to be fixed but did not want to pay for it . Boo freaking Hoo
If you are an O/O you are the one responsible for your repairs . Not the company !
Okay next item Bfr38 was lent a company truck while his was in the shop he ran it like an O/O same pay ect. so do not fall for this pity party he trying get from ya'll .
Okay next item this family that own's MMT does not take vacation when ever they want they have taken 1 vacation in 3 years and even then they were working on lap tops and cell phones . So Boo freking Hoo you do not own a sports car Mustangs are cheep and so what they have a nice house I do too and I own a brand new Jeep so what I save money and work hard I put in 55 to 70 hours a week as a dispatcher . So grow up and stop blaming everyone else that you tore up your truck and had to pay for it . your the O/O .

 

Ah the pig haulers. The dregs of the trucking industry. Brand new tractors held together by duct tape after a few weeks. They don't even get out and make sure all of their lights works. They can't even roll up their landing gear all the way. Too much time to be safe?

Don't believe me, come to the Port of Los Angeles. I witness this every day when I come here to re-load my tanker.

....this not the first time ,we have heard about how MMT operates ,maybe it's time to sweeten up ,if you want to keep your job ,im sure there's alot of drivers in the Columbus metro ,that will not tolerate shady little trucking outfits ,wanting
Welfare from their driving force ,if MMT is so legit ,why would they need anyone to defend their actions ?
