    My issue now is I can get loads but they don't want them delivered until after the first.

    Seems like everyone with a "regular" job just doesn't want to work from the week before Christmas 'til after New Years.

    Glass is really slow too.

    Our customers won't re-open until Jan 4.

    It happens every year at this time. That is why I usually take off between Christmas until after New Year's. Some shippers will load a truck before the end of the year but the consignee won't accept it until after the first. That way neither have to pay property tax on the product since it is in transit.
