The C-model should have two-piece pistons with a steel crown(top) They'll take more heat and abuse. I think the rod bearings are bigger also. If you can get a PEEC/C-model crank/rods/pistons it seems lilke a no brainer top me. Good luck.

Steel top pistons will be a waste of time unless your building a real hotrod, they aren't really needed until you pass the 750hp mark.
Also they have a different bowl design that will create smoke issues due to where the injector sprays on the piston, even if you switch to the matching injectors you would need to go to the C model pump to get the injection pressure you need for the injectors. -
