First of all dont ever lease a truck from them. If you get a newer pete with yearly contracts first of all they are too high! Then there inspections, your not only charged for tire depth that you used on the truck while having it. Which takes away your maint. Acct. If you want an inverter put in its 225.00 service fee but read the rest of this first.
you are charged 25.00 for them calling for roadside blow outs, setting up service for your truck at there shop or somewhere else. Pick up a trailer with something wrong you are deducted from your maint. Acct! The new deal of 445.00 wk on 07 frieghtliners they let you pay them down til 12 grand or less and don't run you so they get them back. Also 445.00 wk doesn't cover the 360.00 wk maint fund they take from you. They will run you enough to pay for the truck and maint fund and no money home for your family, ask any driver out there!! Go to orintation and if you make the first 3 days you have no options. Lease a truck or go home!! There is no dedicated accts with company trucks avail. And if you lease a truck or are an o/op. Get ready to pay all the toll roads and get low frieght with never getting 100% of fsc! Never repower a trk! Guys lie because they overgrossed them out or didn't load them right and call for repowers so that you will get stuck!! If you quit or give notice us express will put on your dac you quit under dispatch or terminated! They will make it so you can not get another driving position! Myself couldn't care over 20 yrs and had enough. Look at arnold, c&c trucking and if your thinging about leasing your trucks on with us express. Think twice both of these companies couldn't afford all the fancy ebr's and borrowed money and then us express stole there names and companies! Shippers aren't getting there frieght on time and recievers are all mad! Wonder why when so many drivers quiting, never making appts or drop yards. Even mileage drivers company and lease drivers are only getting 3-4oo mile trips and then sitting in truckstops for weekends! If you have an emergency forget it. You will not get home!! If your from the south you run north, versa versa. 3 years with this company and i have heard it time and time again!! Also if your a company driver you are provided with ezpasses but lol.. You can't use them. They route you per driver tech over the worst roads in the us and around all the tolls. Go out of route from what they route you and it's 1.00 per mile!!
warning you all now ask alot of drivers and what you will find is alot of them have no homes to live in and just driving around for a place to live! Living on advance money and never make a check! If you have a family or want to have a home, life steer clear of us express. Im not a discruntal employee or nothing, i have been with them for 3 years and what i have seen, heard etc over the years is knowledge!! I am retired now so i did my dues just to get by!!
