Hi colleagues. I have a problem on my Volvo D12. Replaced the steering pump on my truck, changed the filter for steering fluid and now I have the Fluid coming out of the small breather hose, and is coming a lot. What the problem might be? Thanks

What type of fluid did you use, did you overfill the power steering reservoir?

It could be excess oil purging itself after all the air was out of the system.

    Truckin4ever77 Thanks this.

Thank you sir for your help.I got oil from the dealer for it, I am not sure what brand it was. It was more than the max level in the reservoir but now is around max and is still leaking...it might be air, how can I fix that? What would you recommend?

Not much you can do except to just let the air purge itself out by itself.

Just keep an eye on it in case it gets worse.

what small breather are you talking about cuz to my knowledge volvo does not have a breather on the power steering.
