what are you looking for then? if you have the dedicated out you must be looking for something back. if your dedicated lane isn't running then you don thave a dedicated route, is that the problem?

this year has been starting strong for open deck. Traditional blast load alert email customers are even discussing contracts because they are missing appointments because of tight capacity. Yeah, plenty of ignorant fools that are clueless about markets and conditions will try and sell you that. But look at the data. It is telling a different story.

i think the biggest issue for open deck independents is some big shippers are testing the 3PL market. But that's a drop in the bucket this year. Still watch who is making moves into this market and dedicate yourself to being a valuable asset. It will payoff in the next couple years.

 

BiG bad bill does his homework. (They) are meaningless propaganda and noise makers. The market will always have room for good decision makers. My one way dedicated route is working well, and our ability to get good return loads gets better every month as we continue to deliver good service to the ones who gives the oppurtunity out of a very challenging market.
