3 months ago they made some changes and I no longer hav access to my reports online. They’re answer is to get a PC to regain those functions. The guy working for me is having lots of connectivity issues. I do everything on mobile devices. They won’t change it back so I went with someone else.

This Coretex system comes preloaded on a tablet and has lots of tools for back office stuff. It is very similar to the big systems the large fleets run, but much cheaper. I also have their camera system installed. They provide reefer monitoring as well. You can bundle all the services into one and view it all on your Coretex Dashboard.RStewart Thanks this. -
It's always interesting to read about people's experiences with different products. I've been using BigRoad for 3 years and have had no issues, works like a charm for me.

I didn’t have an issue with my unit. The unit I had trouble with was the small one that’s branded FleetComplete. Mine was an older BigRoad box. They then removed my ability to generate my quarterly IFTA mileage report. You can only get it via a PC device. So I’m dumping them and going with someone else.

I always had good luck with Qualcomm or now Omnitracs. The newer peoplenet seemed like a decent one as well. Not sure of the cost of them though.

Checked my tread depth today and the powered axle has used 4/32 on 54,320 miles and the tag has used 1 or 2/32 depending where I measure. The steers have used just a hair over 2/32. The shoulders on the powered axle were wearing fast until I knocked the pressure down and that seems to have stopped it. The tag is wearing at all, hardly. When the front is worn down enough I can rotate those to the rear and probably get a lot of life out of this set of tires.

Still rolling along here. This recent KW purchase continues to be a nightmare though. I’m working on a deal to get the guy in a new LT, similar to mine. Got to see the banker around the end of the month first. This KW is the kind of truck that puts guys out of business. I pay the driver well so he is sticking it out with me. I’ll reiterate that if you’re looking at buying a used CFI truck, you had better do a lot of research on it. I wouldn’t buy another.
I’m confident I’ll recover from it but for the money I’ve spent on this thing, I should have bought new in the beginning.Dave_in_AZ, Rugerfan, TallJoe and 1 other person Thank this. -
