That price is high for an 2006 especially since it has a C13 Cat, they are a problem motor. That truck should be about $15-$18k all day long. Depending on what you want to do with it a Sterling daycab is alright, I use a Volvo daycab daily and have looked at adding a Sterling to the fleet. Keep in mind, Sterling is out of business, yes it is a Freightliner product but body and other special parts will become harder to find soon.

Get one with a small sleeper. Miles are real nice though.

Own a 2005 sterling currently. I would buy a sterling only if I like gluten for punishment and put myself out of business before I begin. Now that they're discontinued, it takes weeks, sometimes a month to get a part in. From what I hear from the parts guy, freightliner has or is stopping parts support so basically you can only get parts from salvage yards and such in the future.

For parts in that you won't have a problem as they made the day cab till 08/09. I run a 2000, and I question lately why I love the truck. Personally if you buy a sterling day cab, get the bigger hood (9522). Allows you more room to work on the motor.
