    Miles ran, 3089

    Miles paid, 2917

Miles transflowed, yet to be paid, 1383

Started this week out at the receivers staging area for my 6 am appt. Am empty by 9am, and headed over to pick up my hazmat load going to mesquite TX, that is not due until Monday after christmas. I call the receiver, and can deliver on thursday morning, which I can easily due.

Update my driver manager with my new empty time, and ask for the pepsi load going to worland WY. I know it comes out on Thursdays. He can't find it. :biggrin_25512: Good load to get me by the house too.
Empty out in Mesquite, looking at the back side of the shop on the yard. :biggrin_25519:
dispatch says they have the worland load, but it has already been dispatched, but it finals in Butte MT. I informed my DM, he sends me over to the J in lancaster. He sets up a repower to the pepsi load, only problem he says is the first drop is not until the 30, final the 31. I take it, get to spend 3 days at home. And no unpaid miles :biggrin_2558:
I will not be home until Sunday, due to hours of service, but I am Happy.

    dingy,
you have a problem with stevens?

I was home for turkey day, did not ask to be. I was home from the 26 to the 29 for christmas. Would have been home for christmas, but government regulations said I could not drive.

Truck drivers do not get to be home for every holiday, and if you expect to be, better own your own truck, and have a good savings account. Or be a local.

I am home when I want to be, I choose when I am home. I am a wanderlust, and enjoy driving, being on the road.

I live in a country where I still have the right to make choices for myself, and do not have to be like everyone else. As much as the federal government would like to change that. What works for me, may not work for.

Does Stevens let you take the truck home? Or does it depend?

well it is possible, if you pull the fuse for the QC. Just dont get caught. Drivers are required to place their tractors in a Thermoking or Major Truck dealership secure lot when on hometime. :biggrin_25520:
