TLeaHeart....obviously I am new to this so please pardon my ignorant question....are the unpaid miles the miles that were deviated from the direct route?? In other words if its 1000 miles to your destination and your actual mileage is 1050 because you deviated from the route (accident, weather, construction) that would be the reason for not being paid for the extra 50 miles??
Thanks

The rest is that Stevens pays shortest route miles, as the crow flys...
So one will always have unpaid miles, and Stevens expects their company drivers to average 7 to 8%. good question.Prostreet1 Thanks this. -
I feel that you will get out of it what you put into it. Dont let the negativity get you down... -
Aprils numbers
total paid dispatched miles; 12060, empty 778, loaded 11282
Actual miles driven on those dispatched miles; 12637
Unpaid miles, 577 for a 4.8% variance.
Fuel Mileage for the month, 6.67 mpg
Cost per mile for fuel, $0.179
Miles paid in the month of april 9757
Gross Pay, $14,084 or $1.44 per mile
Net pay, $2,484 or $0.293 per mile
Still an acceptable month for me. fuel cost was up, more rain, heavy loads, and a DPF filter acting up. -
I see I'm not the only one having issues with getting load assignments and home time in a timely manner. Poptohder
