I got ur response via email so I didn't see ur profile, stats, etc, my...very..first...thought, "this HAS to be a Stevens driver!" Came to the website to reply and ROTFLMAO!!!!!! A BIG pic of your Stevens truck! LOL! And yes, I do believe him. In fact, the company I used to work for just hired a new driver that also claims he spent most of his training in a simulator. Grant it, I told him the story I posted above before he made such a claim, so he certainly could have been pulling my chain, but I can't think of a single reason why he would claim something so rediculous if it weren't true. How long have u been driving or been with ST? Maybe that's their newest economically efficient way of training!?!?!?! The military even uses simulators for urban training, tanks, aircraft, subs, etc., not that that is their only method, but it is a fact that they use them.

I just went through there CDL school and training from Nov through January, so just a couple months ago.

Stevens does NOT have any simulators of any kind lol. Hell, they dont even do any computer training like Ive seem from some schools.

So how is life after the training? How was the last part with the trainer? Any good positive experience and lots learned?

Since you are on your own, how has been your schedule? Good trips with lots of miles?

Life is good. My first trainer was great. We still talk every few days and will probably be friends forever. My finish trainer was a bit of a nut lol, but he was ann OK guy overall. Last 6 weeks avg 2836 miles per week.
