Sounds like a lesson learned and at least it wasn't at your own expense. Glad to hear you're getting home soon. Try to actually relax in between. :biggrin_25519:

I don't think I should give his name out, it wouldfn't be ethical.

Good for you Fozzy, in not naming names, just remember the lesson learned from his costly mistake. If there is even a slight chance of me not being legal, gross or axle, I will drive to a scale to verify, and correct it. Besides then I am comfortable rolling across any scale in this country, as I know I have done my job.

And you guys are lucky that they decided to let him pay a fine and keep rolling, sometimes, they will make you sit there until another truck arrives to unload the extra product, and get you legal.

I was luckier than your trainer Fozzy. I came into a scale, overweight on my drives, was very respectful and answered all questions honestly. Got off with a warning. You can be durn sure that now, no matter how mad i am, I make #### sure I scale if it is over 25,000 lbs. Can't be that lucky all the time for sure.

As for primeexample, well.......he does the same on the JCT thread.

I have decided that since it is my thread and it's all about keeping a good attitude I am not going to get drawn into any "discussions" that could turn negative. I will ignore any posts that seem designed to start such things and would ask anyone else posting on this thread not to respond either. Thanks.

I went to stevens. there were 60 in our orentation class, 25 of us were experinced. by the final day, i was the only experinced one left and i left 2 days later. cant treat experianced drivers like students climbing behinde the wheel for first time. they talk a really good game, but you find out the true way fast. have buddy that was a student in our class and is still there, and is regretting it.

Apparently they make better money off the students. The Only money incentive for experience drivers is to be a trainer. I don't have any complaints with Stevens. They show right from the beginning that they are geared towards Students and they show up front how much you will make
    if you stick with them.
Common sense showed me that it will take five years to make 27cpm which
was not very good. I am talking about 9 years ago. I don't know how much you make now if you are with them that long.
