the fleet consists of new t700s, t660, pete 386, and a few freightshakers. all the new t700s have apus/inverters. most of the fleet has apus cause they have been getting rid of all the older trucks.
ive never had my truck inspected when coming into the yard. sometimes its been real sloppy but they dont check that barring some hazardous materials spread all over the inside of your truck. -
are u allowed to put a inverter in the truck?
-
All the new trucks for the last three years have been equipped with an APU, bunk heater and 1500w inverter.
you don't need to put one in yourself. -
and have they gotten rid of all the t2000s or are they in the grad fleet
-
They're all over. Grad, Company and Alliance.
I drive a 2010 T2000 (by choice)
I like the 2000 more than the 660's and didn't want a Pete. I like the space and the desk. Also my refrigerator bolts up to the rack.
The 700's are almost identical to the 2000 on the inside, but there were not that many in yet when I got this truck. -
i had a 660 at trans am i didnt like it was way to small on the inside id rather get a 387 but i dont think i will be that lucky unless i lease but i have completed two leases one at trans am and one at cr england so i know how to make that work but i guess i will have to see what happens they are making me go out with a trainer cuz all my exp is older then 3 years ive been a diesel mechanic for a while now and miss the road to much so getting back into it they told me i would have to go with a trainer for 9 weeks but also said if the trainer says im good to go that i can get done earlier ( i was a trainer for 6 months with trans am).. so since im going with a trainer does that mean i go to the grad fleet cuz i was told i would start at .30 a mile

Your next stop will be grad fleet.
When you reach Grad, you are paid by mileage, not training pay. it will be whatever you negotiated.
Grad fleet is just like solo except you must submit a route plan for each trip and they watch your paperwork closely to make sure you are doing it right.
Grad is a piece of cake.pagan22 Thanks this. -
Just wandering if you guys could give me a little info on Stevens cant seem to ever get ahold of the recruiter there. How much time with trainer, mileage pay, benefits,do you get choice of truck, hows there lease program and etc. any info you could give me would be great thanks.
