When I had mine removed thy used a drill with a round rubber attachment, It worked like a big eraser and took off the stickers without hurting the paint. Not sure where to get one though.

The turtle wax label remover will be tough to use under 32 degrees. I think it even says it on the product. If your doing it outside and it's below 15 degrees don't waste your time and money. De-natured alcohol will aid you if your below freezing. Paint thinner is best but obviously it is Not paint friendly.

I have a solvent in a 20 Oz coke bottle given to me by the graphics shop that did my lettering. Use a 3M eraser wheel to remove the decals. Then with a paper towel wipe some of this solvent on the remaining glue and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then wipe it off. Very easy, quick, and takes virtually no elbow grease. The solvent is called "orange peal" ask around at some local graphics/lettering shops. Probably common knowledge in that line of work. I got mine for free. It's less than a cup in the bottom of the bottle. Enough to last me a lifetime as much as I remove a
    ny decals. Great stuff.

I bought my (decal remover) drill attachment from CARQUEST. I think it is made of bees wax. It goes in drill like a wire wheel. Takes all decals off leaves paint untouched. Not really any clean up to mention. I would think any store that sells auto paint would sell this wheel.

I went to body shop supplier and they had a Dupont and a cheap wheel. Counterman said for what I wanted to do(same as you) get the cheap one. $19.00 with the mandrel and all. It went through those decals like a hot knife through butter. The wheel still has plenty of meat left on it. Those things are the answer for decal removal.
