Don't call Stevens if you don't have a working record for the past three years and you had to have made at least 10,000 EACH year for the past three years. That's what they told me when I applied many moons ago.

Keep trying to get Swift to give you a start date or look elsewhere.

    You're joking, right? :biggrin_25526:

Check with your local state employment training. WIA funding will pay for a private school. You can walk out with no school debt. That's what I did back in '09. Except I went to TN Tech.

You really want to try to get into the SA Academy. Really good instructors you will remember for the rest of your life. especially Mr. Thompson with his new Bullhorn and Whistle

my recruiter name is Jackie and I am wanting to stay in Texas so I don't have to deal with the issue of changing my ld over from another state. I have given her dates and she said that she only gets the opening emails when there is space and at first I gave her the mid Nov date and she said it was not open then the end of Nov and still nothing and the list time was early Dec and still nothing.

    To the op,

Try Kimberly J out of Phoenix if shes still there. Injun knows who I am talking about. She treated me good and never gave me BS.

Not overly worried about it at this point, were too broke this year to do anything for christmas anyhow, I told the family to plan on doing christmas in february..LoL..and hopefully the OTR part of all this will be short, Im really hoping for a regional run, which Ive been assured by the wonderful recruiter I will be able to obtain after my training with the mentor by choosing said "Comfort zone"..lol...Im not holding my breath and i fully expect to run 48 for a good 6 months at least, but If shes good to her word and I can get a regional right off, I will be pleasantly surprised..:biggrin_25525:
