I just can't wrap my head around how you feel right now. I dropped my new "7" in coffee the wife made before i left, and i was in too much of a hurry to get a lid. I can type text and talk, but ppl can't hear me. I screwed up. ITS JUST A PHONE, not a Pete. . May have to take her phone to work tmrw, and this is my wknd to pull, as well. As much as it hurts me that my XXX$ pos isn't working, i'm just in awe for you, man. It'd be like someone towing my '69 Goat (not the baaaaaa kind) outta my garage....

Sometimes those rigs end up in Russia. They'll drive the whole thing onto a freighter and off she goes. About 3 years ago I was watching foreign news overseas and they were talking about crossing the border between Russia and Mongolia and was filming a crossing point. Couldn't believe my eyes, but a Prime tractor & trailer crossed and still had the Prime decals on it.

 

No they ran outta suckers in the US and decided to expand to even cheaper labor.

 

I remember when the Mafia was stealing those big 4 door Chevys and shipping them to cab companies in the Middle East. One of them was a NYC police car. Anyone that's been in that part of the country the past 2 or 3 decades may remember all those big Chevy 4 door sedans being used by cab companies. They made a ton of money until they got caught.

 

I've had several things stolen over the years, nothing compared to your rig though. Bottom line is, the police don't care about property crimes, there's no money in it. Now tell them there is $2M of drug money stashed in the sleeper and they will find it ASAP.

 

Or tell them you had a firearm stashed under the seat.

 

Sorry about your loss. Should make us all pay more attention. Every truck needs some extra sort of securment. Any vehicle that starts and runs with just a key (no chip in the key) is easy pickens. A crook can start a truck and be off faster than you can with a key. It only takes a flat blade screw driver. No hot wiring like in the movies.

 

You talking about the Checker cabs?

 

The Mafia was stealing, I think, Chevy Impalas. Maybe they also took some checker cabs.
