When the cabover market crashed in the early 90s kenworth of omaha had a large lot filled with k100s and Pete 352 fat cabs that sat there so long they were sinking into the dirt .....werner trades .
When they finally moved they went to south American countries and Africa.

I remember one carrier that went under with a dozen new trucks that just sat there until everything was settled. Each one had issues. sitting long enough allows the gear oil to drain off the parts above the oil level and eventually condensation rusts the exposed parts. The rears and transmissions were all problems. They should have gone to Africa.
