Monday - 5am job start, bit of a shorter day than normal, had a few backing practices and finally backed the lead up into the pup trailer with one shot....the pin landed RIGHT in the hitch! after realizing that I didn't really NEED another week in training my trainer told me that I would have to go out that second week anyway....I feel as though it was a bit of a waste of time however rules are rules.Come to find out in the middle of the day they had some layoff's for the week including my trainer - The company wanted me to pack my bag's so I could go otr and run with a trainer out to canada for the rest of the week for the $12 an hour training pay they offered. After expressing my concerns about the situation to the trainer he actually worked out with dispatch(primarily due to seniority) to where I would still go out to canada but at least I wouldn't have to put up with switching trainers AGAIN and having to go across the border with him.Now I have today off,and I'm waiting to see what lies ahead for tomorrow.
