I just found it funny because I had been doing brake jobs since I was 14 or 15 and never had to be certified.

I got nothing to add so I'll just post a picture I took one day of a Swift parking attempt.

So you paid them $100.00 to take your wheels off and put them back on? Did they at least rotate your tires?
Did you ask for your money back? Did they tell you they were not going to put new brakes on when you agreed to let them do it?
    Something isn't right here.....

No, they did a brake job on all 4 drive wheels for $100. The cost of the brake kits. In return I allowed them to train 4 people to get certified in doing brake jobs.

Hold your calls, we have a winner.

Had a guy at the T/A Jacksonville South, the clerk spent 5 minutes asking him what his birthdate was, and he didn't know, couldn't speak English. Should have a DOT officer at every fuel desk, they can't speak English to get fuel, truck gets impounds and company's authority yanked. (IF they are even legal.)

Nope, a S.D. inspector told me during an inspection in early July that they received a memo from FMSCA prohibiting them from impounding a driver who cannot speak or read English. He was specifically speaking of drivers that cannot effectively identify hazmat placards on their trailers. We're screwed.
