    So I'm picking up a load in NJ last week, and this mid 30's Indian guy walks in to get his load. Carrier is California based. Shipper requires a CDL to scan into the system. Driver's CDL was 1 year expired, with a hole punched in the barcode, so they refused to load. Driver comes back in with photo of a 'valid' CDL on his phone. Shipper refuses. Driver leaves with truck.

    All shippers should require a valid CDL before releasing a load. It's amazing that he's gone a whole year without being taken off the road.

    Yep. Apparently I've already erased all the pics of completely bald tires getting aired up after 100 miles of running.

    I kinda DO like the idea of the collapsible fuel tanks in the picture though. No condensation to deal with!
