    Again ...

    Who are you?

There are no laws governing this. No legislation either.

What are the regulations that say it is illegal?

What laws need to be changed?

Oh and if you went to court over this, where and when?

I'm also in the crowd that hates seeing brake lights coming on with the Jake. When I was a kid, a friend of mine and I would try not to use the brakes. We never got hurt, but still until this day it infuriates me seeing brake lights when somebody isn't stopping or slowing down. Using your brakes to control highway speed? Why the @#$& are you hitting your %#@*ing brakes?!

Something about compression release brakes. People kind of think, tongue-in-cheek, what about a jake on gas engines? Essentially gas engines have a Jake! Diesels don't have a throttle body, but closing the butterfly in the throttle body created a vacuum that does the same thing. Yes, in know that 16.5:1 does a lot more than 7:1, but there you go. My dad told me you shouldn't down shift and slow down on compression with a Holley that had vacuum secondaries as it would blow them out.
