Failed my road test today because of this. I made it pass the line just as the light turned red. I told my examiner I felt like I wouldn’t have been able to stop safely but he wasn’t having it. But thinking about now I could’ve stopped, might have been a hard brake but I would’ve been able to stop, instead of braking I accelerated to avoid the hard brake, because I felt like it was the right thing to do at the time. Passed my pre trip, air brake, and skills test. And this was the only thing to mess me up. Disappointed in myself tbh. Going back Monday to retake the road test portion.

Running in southern TN and parts of AL they have some VERY short lights. Seen a light turn green, by the time I was half way into the intersection it was red. F it.
in AL was coming up on green, it hit yellow red and back to green in about 12 seconds.
It’s not just going too fast, sometimes it’s going too slow. 55mph so you slowed to 45 but now you’re ###### if you do ###### if you don’t.
The more you drive the easier it getsWill The Trucker Thanks this. -
Try to watch for a crosswalk light if there is one. They always turn red before the traffic light turns yellow.
