Liked what you had to say their Triplesix. One of the first stipulations I was told by my main boss was that if I was given more than 6 stops for my out of state Kansas run was to let him know so he could straighten it out with the salespeopletter as not to put to much on one where it will become a HOS issue. Well that went out the window quickly. I was made to drive illegal several times in order to get material off the truck and make it back to the yard, no more, but that only happened on tarping days. When they see that I can handle what's thrown at me it has become the status quo. I work efficiently, aggressively and take care of my truck and equipment like it were my own. I took this job because an old boss of mine started working there and at that was looking for a local job to keep the women happy and be home. Didn't really do any research. Enough of that, starting to sound like whining. Did have an OTR job lined up with a top flatbed company which is what I really wanted but it would have cost me my relationship. So here I am stuck for the moment. Appreciate your suggestions, be safe.

Have you looked into other local options? Changing jobs sucks because like six said, its not always greener on the other side.

But you backed yourself into your current spot by allowing them to add more stops when they said you didn't have to do them. There is a fine line between going the extra mile and being someone who will be taken advantage of.

I would suggest doing a bunch of research on other local options, and not making the jump unless it will be a guaranteed lateral move but ideally and upgrade.

If you get stopped for being over your HoS, it affects your CSA and your future employability. I'm not sure the most proactive way of dealing with that situation in the interim. There might be a way to rectify the situation, that is beyond my negotiation level.

Thnx Macavoy for your feedback. Awhile back I had researched for driving jobs round here and their is plenty of them, going to start again. If something looks more promising then I wil go for it. It's really not a bad gig they are just cheap and one does have to think about the years to come. We worked out the HOS issue, so their should be problem there hopefully, Thnx, be safe.

That's rough. I'm local getting paid by the hour and if I do as many hours as you do I'd have about a $1500/ week paycheck. Driving a reefer. Now I remember why I got our of flatbedding.
