We used to call them "Dwellers." Little more than hobos with a driving job.
Or for sale on the CB after a bender in Vegas...

    buddyd157 and JoeyJunk Thank this.

I still have them. But ALL of my 8-tracks, LPs, and Cassette tapes have been digitized to MP3s. The quality of the 8-tracks is not the best! But the software I used did a great job with filtering out all the #### that came off the LPs.

    Boondock and Dennixx Thank this.

I get the whole vinyl thing.

I even get wanting a retro looking boom box. What I don't get is the analog radio and wanting something that looks like a cheap knock off. I've got nothing against cheap knock offs if they look and/or function as intended, but this is deep fried poop on a crap stick.

So years ago when the tech was new I started to convert my analog to digital via my stereo as opposed to the computer.
Still have my cdr units though they don't get used.

With my LPs, I used a borrowed turntable hooked through my computer. I had my 8-tracks and cassettes done another way.

    Boondock Thanks this.

Not bad. But nothing is better than classic country on an am station.

JolliRoger, JoeyJunk, MACK E-6 and 2 others Thank this.

This is why I stream the country legends station out of Houston. Right now I have it playing on my iPad!
