    You assume way too much.

    They never asked that question.

I advised them I was legal to drive anywhere in the country with or without my glasses.

If he wanted to write a ticket, be my guest. I would see him in court.

You think you might really want to know my prescription before you open your mouth so to speak again?

Well that question is on both your license application, and you long form questionnaire.

Your answer on that was obviously no(which would be a lie if you have indeed been prescribed glasses) because there is no restriction on your license.

Now I am sure your going to come up with some fantastic tale of a Doctor giving you a sometimes prescription. That too will be a lie.

Either prescribed corrective lenses improve your vision or they do not. If they do by letter of the law you are requird to report it. It is not a made up law on the spur of the moment as you acert, but part of both your states law and FMCSR regs.

    I was wearing sun glasses.

    Read the post.

I do not need glasses to drive, but you seem to know everything. Thankfully, most people know their laws better than you do.

    Best to you.

I do not need your okay and I have no problems. The state was wrong. Why do you think they did not issue the ticket.

So your whole fantasy is because of sun glasses? Tell me which Federal Marshal was inspecting you.

Everything I posted was factual and dead on. Since you do not have a prescription glasses(your story insinuated that) you make up being stopped for sun glasses.

I guess they stop you for blood suger tests, prostate exams and the like as well,

Your entire story is a fabrication. No officer wanted to write you a ticket for sun glasses.

Go back to finding your boogeymen.

You still have no idea what my prescription is for.

Yes, they are prescription sun glasses as well.

You still have not read page 2 of the long form physical.

I did not lie on the form.

I did not lie on my license.

You need to learn how to comply with the law.

I am legal and you cannot understand it.

    Tough.

You are a piece of work.

I have glasses, but am NOT required to wear them to drive. My vision is fine, but the glasses make it more comfortable for me.
Now, I realize that you know more than anyone else and that your opinion is the only opinion that matters, but this time I believe you might be mistaken, if that's at all possible.

I'll disagree again - I wore corrective lenses, but could still pass the visiion exam without glasses. No lying involved, my vision just wasn't that bad...

I've got a prescription for eyeglasses. Says right on it: "To be used when reading or using a computer."

I cannot drive with them, as the focal point is for close up objects. Anything beyond three feet or so is very blurry, but they relive the eye strain from being a former CAD monkey and an avid reader.

(Doc said she's never seen my condition, only read about it due to rarity, but it does happen)

When did they start handing out Truckstop medical degrees to go with the law degrees already infamous?

Ignorance of the law works both ways.

No and your prescription exempts driving hence not a violation of both FMCSA and state law.

    Key word being prescription!

It is not about a degree. It is about knowing the laws pertaining to operation of a commercila vehicle which only requires the reading of one book.
