Roehl has a website out there. That site more than likely lists all their terminal locations. Crete does, I do know that. These two companies are pretty good to work for, by the way.

ok so I don't mean to sound like a total idiot but I am not in the industry and have been doing some reasearch but with the picture in the previous post does that mean that all of the yellow dots are their different terminals??

Thanks for the PM with the terminal map, I have a question though, what is a drop yard? What is the difference between a terminal and a drop yard? Thanks!
-
Terminal probably has fuel, shower(s) such as they are, offices, driver lounge and vending machines, repair shop and who knows what all.
A drop lot is a secure or not yard where you can drop and hook trailers (relay type of thing) -
Brick called it. Of course he called it. A drop yard may be a place with a guard shack and a guard on duty 24/7. It may also be like a SwiftQuit yard I remember going to once in New York State. This yard didn't even have a fence or night lighting. When I went there, I picked up a load of beer that had been sitting for four days. It didn't have a lock on it, either. It just had a special lock-type seal. But it was all there.

So, for example, you wouldn't go to a drop yard to start your 2 weeks on the road. You would have to go to a terminal, I am just wondering because there is a Roehl drop yard near the cities and I live near the cities (when not in fargo for school) and i see the nearest terminal is in wisconsin so I was just trying to figure out if I would have to go there if I worked for Roehl to get "started" on a trip...does any of this make sense to you guys??
