Storage unit safe worthy enough?

record serial numbers, etch items, buy a high quality pad lock or two, take pictures, tuck that pull cord under the door when you shut it.

 

You're fine. Try to find an independent place where someone lives there and has a bunch of guns if you can. If not i mean the chances of anything happening are very low. Rent a storage unit in a decent area. If you live in the ghetto rent in the next city over..

 

if it was all my stuff, i would. i worked my butt off to buy all those things. they are valuable to me.

 

Here in HI someone busted the weak gypsum board walls and got some good stuff. Check for unit to unit security.

Just the fact that they live there is a deterant enough. But i promise you they are armed to the teeth. All those valuables surrounding them...

Just go talk to them. Strike up a conversation. Tell them your situation and that you are concerned for the safety of your property. And ask them what type of security measures they have taken...
