Has anyone ever tried to straighten out the rear light section of a Fontaine step deck after hitting a dock too hard?

Yea, use the hammer on your fontaine instead of running around hitting docks hard.
A chain and a phone pole may put it right, dont brake the phone polePPDCT Thanks this. -

That must have been one hell of a whack to damage the rear deck plate. Thats what I am envisioning in my mind. I dont see how else you can damage the tail lights.
My ramp hangers go beyond the bump stops for dock bumping. So when ever I have to hit a dock,.. I go extra slow for the last few feet,.. I dont car how mad the guy is flailing his arms for me to hurry up because I still have 2 - 3 more feet. I'm taking my sweet ### time.
I was delivering to a rental place a couple years back and they loading dock had a steel lip that went beyond the concrete with braces underneath it. I bumped the wall and pulled forward an inch thinking I would be fine. I was off loading a medium sized John Deere rubber tire loader. When he hit the dock my trailer jump up and it smashed the lip for the hanger of my ramp pad. It crushed underneath the brace for the over hang. Had to have the whole thing replaced. That sucked.
