Change your fuel filters. It sounds like you jarred some crud loose.

Hope this cured the problem. What were you doing on a dirt road? Hope you don't incur the wrath of the pot hole on the way out.

 

He is following the GPS to the T and then maybe he will turn back around get yourself a BFH and pound on the fuel filter a while!! Be sure not to break the glass!!!!!

 

hey now, if i didn't follow my gps down them dirt roads. i wouldn't be making delivery. cuz them dirt roads is where they be. up in them there hillsides yonder.

Century+Dirt=Strange math, to me.
Anyhow, the pre S/T Century(your Century) is becoming quite expensive to buy parts for. The S/T prices, on parts, are climbing steadily as well. Sorry, but I suggest upgrading.... Columbia DD60 EPA04 is decent on parts. Spare yourself from a DD60 EPA07. When you decide to go EPA010 "DD13,15,16/Cascadia" expect a myriad of problems. Yet, Detroit is fantastic on warranty repair/replacement. So is Freightliner. I don't know if DD or FL pays for "downtime" though.
Of course, I would not drive a PX132/113(Cascadia) or CL120/112(Columbia) in "the dirt" any sooner than I would drive a Century(C120/112) into it. They ain't dirt trucks. Smile.

 

May have hit hard enough to make the fuel "bounce" up enough in the tank for the pick up tube to suck some air.
