OK for lighter loads I guess, although I can guarantee that if you buy a 6' one, you'll need 7', and so on.
Blocking off the axles to the center beams is the only "adjustable" way I know of.

LOL youre right about that. I always need or want something else I don't have at the moment. I still haven't taken my trailer to have extra holes cut out so I don't have to extend every 5'

I wish I was better at explaining myself, I saw a steel one that a guy had for wheeled equip. it would rest on the center beams and it would "cradle " or "basket" the wheels and since it ran from side to side not length wise, it really didn't matter how much length you needed. I thought that was slick and wanted a similar set up.

XL makes a rolling bunk, put the front axle in then it rolls to the back as you drive on

yeah that's more or less what I was talking about. Something like that, but this guy had it make and it "slid" across. Do you have pics or anything . I googled it and couldn't find it.

Trail King makes them also. You can have a Fab shop make you a rolling bunk as well. Just make sure you have good rollers on them or it makes to rough to slide on the inner beams. Some also use teflon plate material
