It all has more to do with offtracking than length, you can problem turn a circle with your doubles inside of the circle with your 53???

Yes doubles have a tighter turn radius no doubt. I think the 75 ft law only applies to pulling trailers over 48 ft.

    KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.

Well to follow up on my project / ideas - I decided to trade in the Prostar .......:(:(:(:( She was good to me.
    and I bought a 2014 KW T680 - MX 13 , Ultra Shift 10 , 485 hp.
and Yeah OK - the KW is sweet !! Rides REAL nice, love the dash and the little extras :)D:D)

But I do have to say, even this truck, with the Diamond interior, leaves a LOT to be desired for storage and just basic usage in the whole sleeper area. so much wasted space. So much more that can be done.

Yes I have looked at and Talked with BOLT, they are (I believe) the only ones the will do the inside of an OEM 76 inch sleeper, i might be wrong.
But i think i may take it out to them and spend @ $6K and have the inside upgrade more to my liking and use.
I don't want to replace the sleeper, not yet anyway, just look at probably redoing the OEM, mostly due to cost. I think $6K right now (give or take) is enough.
Maybe down the line when the misses is running more with me, ill go for the upgrade and swap out the sleeper with a BOLT or Custom Studio Sleeper.
