You’re probably right but this is definitely my last truck. Strangely enough everything seemed to work as it should except for all the warning lights on the dashboard. Maybe I’ll get lucky on this one besides all the lost time and revenue..
eh, who am I kidding, lol

Of course -- what REAL-LY matters here....is that you (and anyone else) came out of this okay.
Nonetheless -- that's a totally wild story -- do keep us posted on what the later diagnosis is with the truck/trailer.

[I knew a guy with a near new cascadia that got hit by lightning and they totaled it .[/QUOTE] The lightning totaled it or the insurance company? We have a Freightliner Coronado that has enough of electrical issues to make us wonder if it’s been struck by lightning! Lol

Now you have another good story to tell.

A friend had a new 2008 Volvo (under 12k miles) was hit by lightning on i95 in FL.
(Hit the drive side antenna..)
Truck was running when they pulled over.. just idling.... they turn it off and it kept idling... turn the key back on and it died... never to start again.
Company towed it back to GA and gutted a wrecked volvo and rewired everything (took 4 months)
About 18 months later I run into the new driver of the truck at our shop in okc. He was talking to the shop about all the electric problems and how jokingly said he thought it had been hit by lightning, I asked the truck number, when he told me I said it was in March of 08... my friend was driving..... the shop looked up the repair history and said yup looks like it....
That's way I said NEW TRUCK
