Antenna placement and mounting is crucial. Look around on YouTube for videos regarding installing an antenna on your truck.
This might sound like we are over complicating this, but you have invested a good deal of hard earned cash in your Stryker and it would be a shame to blow it up with an antenna system not worthy of your radio.

Yeap gettin it up is always good(Yes that what she said)...This is where you really need to pick up some really good coax with good quality ends..Once all put together and tested dont forget the lil things like covering every connection point for water/dirt intrusion..
Bbi has a few vids on bonding which are great ut he also shows how he covers his straps and extra steps in keeping the bond connections clean n dry..Worth a watch even if you already do so... -

Good plan on bonding..
Once you get it do a test for height,dont want to be to tall....
Once all tested installed i would seal every joint from tip to end.
