Thats actually probably good advice but I'm more of a listener than a 'ratchet jaw' so my radio is not in much danger

I highly doubt the finals burn out cause your at 90%....Most likely to do with poor ant set up and or tune...GOD knows how many folks run full power thinkin their gettin out cause swr is low and a golden screw driver cranked the crap outta it to make it look as if its puttin out 125 watts....

A good tune and max mod with some 2030's will keep the heat down and give a lil more breathing room....I actually feel the diff sence doin mine....I to can be long winded..

Even if you used the power that goes direct to fuse box but that might get electrically noisey but yeah battery would be better.....Run the live to battery and ground to say firewall somewhere closer to ant..Not sure what purpose it serves vut its not the 1st time it has crossed my ears..

Thats half your prob there..Buggers are ####y a hole to start with but i have listented to their splatter box tunes from 10 channels away..If its splattering its a poor tune with more generated heat, strain on internals and wasted true power vs what they tell you bird meter says..
