Easiest way to go. I spent the better part of 2 hours shoveling snow and sand etc. trying to get my truck out of the snowbank that developed around where I parked it in the fall and if I'd have spotted the 4 sets of triples my dad had hanging behind the shed I'd have had it out in less than 30 minutes.

If you are using chains make sure you put them on nice n secure. Saw a guy once just throw them down on the ground. They shot out the back like a bullet... dangerous as all get out.

For me usually locking everything in works. Advantage of full lockers and no traction control crap.

I got stuck on a pull out in Montana once, and found that DOT had a nice pile of road gravel piled there for my convenience. A couple of buckets and she walked right out of there.

Chains are probably best, if you aren't to deep.

Does any one have experience with the "socks?

I've seen the socks before in Spokane, I'd like to know about them too.
