    Two by four.
    Lay your chains over it.

    If u have duelies then it will lift one tire up even easier to chain.

    i've done it a couple of times. in the fronts only. when the salt isn't working very fast.

    When it gets that cold you gotta do some stuff you'd never do otherwise.

    Like a propane torch to frozen brakes because there is no clear asphalt to break them free on.

    Just keep whichever side is locked up on the shoulder in the snow until you get where you're going.
