I just got my CDLs class A and I am looking for a good starter company...or as good as its going to get, when looking on websites like Career Builder or even craigslist I see only stuff for U.S Express, I have tried to contact them with no reply as of yet. I'm from Cincinnati Oh, but I received my training in Memphis, TN....I also have some questions about the difficulties of driving in snow and on ice since I know I will face that eventually. Thanks for you help, in advance

There's plenty good companies that will hire you. US Xpress is mostly about teams, you should look at trucking companies like May Trucking, Crete, Schneider. There's more companies you can find on this forum if you do more research

roehl, crete/shaffer, usa truck, millis...your best bet would be to visit the local truck stop and pick up a bunch of those magazines...each one is basically just ads for trucking companies.

Con-way Truckload has a terminal in W. Memphis. Gives you a place to park your car while out and park your truck while home. Good outfit. Been there over two years and live 1000 miles from the closest terminal. Can't believe your school didn't have recruiters all over your classes.
