Ok.......So I have heard some Recruiters tell me Everything I have wanted to hear. And I have researched online all of the Horror Stories about these Companies. I thought that a Dedicated 1st Year Account was the way to go. What does anyone have to offer as far as a good Route to go as far as a Starter Company?? I would like to have a Pet on the Road, but Paying the Bills, and Supporting the Family is more Important. I know when it is all said and done that there has to be one company that stands out from the Rest when it comes to Hiring Drivers with no OTR Experience. Thanks!!

Watch out for some of those dedicated accounts. Several guys have told me that the $ isn't enough to do some of that back breaking unloading work.

Go with a company that has APU's, pet policy, rider policy, and high annual pay, like around $50K, plus an excellent healthcare benefit package. Melton Truck Lines fits the bill & they do hire right out of CDL school.

Tanker/hazmat companies pay annually, better than flatbed & some hire right out of CDL school. Some also hire new CDL grads, but don't advertise it because they don't have much turnover. It depends on where you live. Always apply & ignore "experience required".
