Hartt transportation in Bangor. Does the east coast. I'm aware of them because they have a terminal near me in Sumter, SC.
twk88 Thanks this. -
Your in a better area than I am !!
The I95 Maine has work ! Of the new cdl starter companies I think Melton is the one which does not . Prime , Werner , Swift , etc etc will . Might want to look at Wel also , smaller than the mega's but hire new cdl .
Pottles Hartt and Hirschbach might be worth a short . Regency is a FB outfit there , but might need 1-2 yrs .
You also have a few local shots to look at as well ! And dont forget Intermodal ..being near the coast ...with real good home time .twk88 Thanks this. -
Always try, even if you think the company won't hire you. Some companies are going a little outside their normal hiring area now looking for drivers:
System Transport
Melton Truck Lines
Irving Oil
Bay & Bay Transportation
Bisson Transportation
Estenson Logistics
Sysco
Ferrellgas

H.O Wolding hires out of maine
twk88 Thanks this. -
H O Wolding likes you to live near the interstate
Skowhegan isn't near anything
but they are worth a try and haul a lot of water from Maine
but all the small local companies are worth calling -
I'm also from maine 22 years old. Got my cdl a thru school when I was 18, but could never get into what I wanted. Applied to a local company that has a lot of daycab work, got called offering me a job running medium duty reefered box trucks over night making deliveries with an agreement that if I stuck through a year they'd get me a daycab position as some guys were lined up to retire. And now here I am just over a month in to it but it's exactly what iv been looking for. Just had to put in some time and start from the bottom. They are out there and good luck!
