Student suspended after telling Muslim student to stand up during the Pledge of Alleg

WOW! This young lady gives me some hope that our country isnt going to lose it's patriotism for the sake of polictical correctness!!!

Another thing, I'm amazed that there are still schools that recite the pledge of Allegiance anymore. I bet most kids couldnt recite it.


When I was involved in Cub Scouts, the BOYS wanted to raise the American flag at the high school home football games. They were told no because there was no way the high school kids would tolerate it So much for Patriotism in Ravenna, Ohio. I suggested to the administator our kids have to be taught national pride and respect, wasn't that his job to teach our children? It was like talking to a brick wall.

 

Florida is vying with California for the title of most pathetic state in the union.

 

Stand up during the pledge!

 

The article mentions that Florida already ruled in court that no one has to stand for the pledge. I say we kick them out of the union as they obviously do not want to be a part of it any more. We'll need some more fencing.

 

What is even worse is the conduct of highly paid professional athletes and NASCAR drivers that don't face the flag and place thier hand over thier heart during the playing of the national anthem.

 

Good for that girl to stand up for america, and yea lets build a fence if florida wont stand up for whats right, let them be their own dang country.

 

Reading a article like that will definitely get the blood pressure up! Heathers parents should be proud of her. I know I am. How many sixteen year old kids will stand up for and demand respect for their country. Especially when we have young men and women fighting in combat and dying for this country. Most sixteen year olds brains are poisoned by Hollywood. One of the few places were it is popular to disrespect this country.

And the girl is even willing to apologize for telling the girl to remove her hijab. God bless you Heather Lawrence. I wish we had more kids willing to stand up for their country.

 

The PC crowd will have you believe that pledging our allegiance to our country while facing the symbol of our freedom, the flag, is idolatry.

When I place my hand over my heart, face Old Glory, and recite the Pledge Of Allegiance, I am pledging faith, hope, and allegiance to my COUNTRY, and my American brethren, and all of the rights our brothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, sisters, etc. have fought & died to keep.

That flag is but a SYMBOL, of all that is right and good with America, and I am ALWAYS proud to face it, hand over my heart, and recite The Pledge of Allegiance. When someone who CLAIMS to want to be an American disrespects our culture, it just makes my blood boil!

WE, as Americans, should not adapt OUR culture to others....THEY should adapt THEIR culture to OURS!!! They come to this country BECAUSE we allow freedom for them to worship, live, and work as they wish.
NOT for them, by virtue of being here, to CHANGE our culture!!
Isn't that part of the reason why America came to be? We wanted to create our own culture of FREE religion, life, and culture???
