I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect company in any industry. Yes I would still take an offer of employment. I know what is most important to me when looking for a company and have to weight out the pro's and con's. I've come across some companies that if you combined them then they would have been a perfect fit. Maybe 1 offers better home time but less CPM. The other offers better equipment and driver amenities but less miles.. Etc. Etc.
Every recruiter that I have talked to has been more than willing to give me at least 30 minutes. If a company wouldn't spend at least 30 minutes with me for an interview then i would move on. This isn't just an overnight decision for someone. Or at least it shouldn't be

I have a spread sheet for the companies that I have talked to. And yes I do weigh my decisions based on my research. Why would I not? Would I buy a car without researching it first? Would I buy a house without researching the neighborhood, school, taxes, growth & decline etc. etc.?
Would you suggest that one should stop researching and just join the first carrier that offered them a job just so they can only get fired or quit in 8 months? There is no such thing as an Ideal company in any industry. But I would never buy any of the above without researching them first. I also wouldn't take a job without researching the company first.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
My mistake is asking for paper logs. That's almost 0 reply on this site. Maybe I should go hunting unicorns. Lol

It may not work for you or someone else but it does work to help qualify companies for me. It may also work for someone else. One should find what works for them and their situation.
I would have to disagree with you and others about recruiters not taking time as I have had nothing but positive responses from everyone that I've talked with. This is my experience. There is no legal basis behind my line of questioning. This is purely an interview. Haven't you all been interviewed before. Most of my past interviews, outside of this industry, last an hour or more. They ask questions and so do you.
Any one of these companies could send you home regardless of interviewing them or not.
This process is not a scatter shot. If you reread my post the tedious research of a company is done before an application is even submitted. 10 companies being researched is a legit number out of 1000's of companies out there.
I am not an employee at this time. I am a newbie, rookie, fresh meat as stated by someone. The Abro you Listed is not me.Need4Speed Thanks this. -
