General knowledge is the longest think like 40 or 50 guestions.Think the other 2 are like 15 or 20 questions.
mike268 Thanks this. -
To prepare for your permit testing go to http://www.truckercountry.com/cdl-practice-tests/ for the best free online CDL tests or for a small fee go to http://www.e-gears.com/cdl-permit-tests.

The general knowledge test has only 40 or 50 questions, but its out of question pool of like 250. Look on line you can find the questions.

I'm here in ohio,
I will say that if you don't pass your first time, don't get all bent out of shape, you can come back the next day and retake it.
Id grab at least tanker as an add on, but just my opinion. -
Use this site to study your written test. I myself am at the point where I do not even need to look at the question. All I do is look at the options and I can tell which one is correct.
One thing I like about this site is, that there are timed full DMV style questions. It takes me about 5-7 minutes to get through a test. To answer your question:
General Knowlege: 50 questions, 60 minutes to complete it.
Air Brakes: 25 questions, 25 minutes to complete it.
Combination Vehicles: 20 questions, 20 minutes to complete it.
Tanker: 20 questions, 20 minutes to complete it.
Hazmat: 30 questions, 30 minutes to complete it.
Doubles/Triples: 20 questions, 20 minutes to complete it. -
studying for your temps??? - does that mean you're studying reefer trailer codes??
pattyj Thanks this.
