What does "dropping the trailers" actually mean? Everything came off? Very new, don't know these things.
-
It refers to disconnecting from the trailer, pulling out from underneath it.Trakehner Thanks this.

New driver, week 7 at the company I work for. Realized late one nite that the bogies were too far forward on a circle check. Moved the bogies and forgot to check under to make sure the air bags were up. Finished the circle check, hopped in and drove down the road...with no air in the bags. Was advised by the MTO agent at the scales...Turns out it was a manual air dump system that I wasn't familiar with, but had I finished my circle check as I was supposed to have done, I would have not moved the trailer to begin with until I could get air in the bags. No fine, I was blessed, but a warning in my file and potential points on my CDL. Still waiting to see on that.
